• Lymphokine-activated killer T-cell-originated protein kinase, also known as TOPK or PBK, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PBK gene.
• The protein encoded by this gene is a serine/threonine kinase related to the dual specific mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase (MAPKK) family.
• It is mapped to 8p21.1.
• PBK can mediate cell growth through histone H3 modification.
• Evidence suggests that mitotic phosphorylation is required for its catalytic activity.
• The encoded protein may be involved in the activation of lymphoid cells and support testicular functions, with a suggested role in the process of spermatogenesis.
• Overexpression of this gene has been implicated in tumorigenesis.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.

• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml, the detection limit is ~0.25ng/lane under reducing conditions
• Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml, boiling the paraffin sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 20 mins is required for the staining of formalin/paraffin sections

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
