特徴

• Intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) is an integral membrane protein, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, and a ligand for lymphocyte function-associated (LFA) antigens, a beta 2 leukocyte integrin.
• The normal function of human ICAM-1 is to provide adhesion between endothelial cells and leukocytes after injury or stress.
• ICAM-1 binds to leukocyte function-associated antigen (LFA-1) or macrophage-1 antigen (Mac-1).
• It is found on leukocytes, fibroblasts, epithelial cells and endothelial cells and its expression is regulated by inflammatory cytokines.
• ICAM-1 has a tissue distribution similar to that of the major histocompatibility complex class II antigens and is likely to play a role in inflammatory responses.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml, boiling the paraffin sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 20 mins is required for the staining of formalin/paraffin sections
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
• Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
