• Melanin Concentrating Hormone (MCH) is the ligand of the somatostatin-like receptor 1 (SLC1 or MCH Receptor).
• This hormone induces melanosomal aggregation within melanophores and has orexigenic properties and is antagonistic to melanotropin.
• MCH may act as a neurotransmitter or neuromodulator in a broad array of neuronal functions directed toward the regulation of goal-directed behavior, such as food intake, and general arousal.
• May also have a role in spermatocyte differentiation.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, PAP or ABC.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:200PAP or ABC: 1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
