• Atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP), atrial natriuretic factor (ANF), atrial natriuretic hormone (ANH), or atriopeptin, is a powerful vasodilator, and a polypeptide hormone secreted by heart muscle cells.
• It is involved in the homeostatic control of body water, sodium, potassium and fat (adipose tissue).
• It is released by muscle cells in the upper chambers (atria) of the heart (atrial myocytes) in response to high blood pressure.
• ANP acts to reduce the water, sodium and adipose loads on the circulatory system, thereby reducing blood pressure.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, PAP or ABC.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:200PAP or ABC: 1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.

• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
