• Absorbance (759nm); Emission (780nm); Extinction Coefficient 240,000.
• MCP-1 is also known as CCL-2.
• Rat MCP-1 is a chemokine of approximately 12kD, which plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue macrophages.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and most Functional Assays.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:FLISA: 0.5ug/mlWestern Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/mlFunctional Assays: 4-6ug/ml to yield one half maximal inhibition (ND50) of rat MCP-1.
• Do not add sodium azide

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
