• Caspase-9 (also known as ICE-LAP6, McL6 and Apaf-3) plays a central role in programmed cell death.
• Following activation (induced by the binding of Apaf-1), caspase-9 cleaves and activates caspase-3.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
