IFN beta, initially described as fibroblast interferon, is produced predominantly by fibroblasts and some epithelial cells.
Type 1 interferons are produced primarily in response to viral infections as part of the host immune response and can also inhibit the development of tumors.
IFN-beta is involved in the regulation of non-specific humoral immune responses and responses against viral infections.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining.
Sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is recommended
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
