IL-8, also known as CXCL8, is produced by a range of cells including stimulated monocytes, mast cells, endothelial cells, keratinocytes and fibroblasts.
Human IL-8 promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 0.5ug/mlWestern Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/mlOptimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Recommended Secondary Reagents:Sheep anti-rabbit IgG labeled with HRP
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol.
Aliquot and store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
