Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2N (UBC13) is a 16kD enzyme which is an important component of the TLR (Toll-like receptor) and IL-1R signalling pathway.
UBC13 is DNA-damage inducible protein which forms part of an enzyme complex, with UEV1A, that indirectly activates TAK1 via the ubiquitination of TRAF-6.
Ubiquitin modification of proteins is important for error-free DNA repair and for targeting of short-lived or abnormal proteins for degradation.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin) and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 2ug/mlWestern Blot: 0.5-1ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
