• HRK regulates apoptosis through its interaction with the anti-apoptotic proteins Bcl-2 and Bcl-XL, and in conjunction to the mitochondrial pore forming protein p32.
• HRK is thought to have a specific role in initiating neuronal and hematopoietic cell apoptosis, in particular to growth factor deprivation.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: Detects a band at ~13kD in mouse pancreas tissue lysate
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Recommended Secondary Antibodies:I1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRbI1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
