Prolactin is a secreted protein with hormonal activity, which functions by binding to the prolactin receptor and positively regulating epithelial cell proliferation.
Prolactin acts primarily on the mammary gland by promoting lactation, and has been shown to promote prostate epithelial cell proliferation.
Prolactin may also facilitate decidual growth and placentation.
Prolactin belongs to the somatotropin/prolactin family.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry (frozen).
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
