MaxLight™750 is a new Near IR stable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™750, Alexa Fluor™700 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
Glutamate receptors are the major excitatory neurotransmitter receptors in the central nervous system (CNS).
They play critical roles in the mechanisms of synaptic plasticity, in the development of the nervous system and have been suggested to be involved in the neuronal cell death that occurs in several neuropathological conditions.
KA2 is a member of the kainate ionotropic receptors.
Kainate receptors mediate fast excitatory synaptic transmissions, are rapidly activated and desensitized by glutamate and are mainly permeable to Na+ and K+.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects KA2 from rat brain microsomal preparation
Immunoprecipitation: 4ug immunoprecipitates KA2 from 500ug rabbit brain membrane extract
Immunohistochemistry: 1ug/ml detects KA2 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded rat brain sections using high energy antigen retrieval
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: MaxLight™750 conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
