MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
Microfibril-associated protein 2, also known as microfibrillar associated protein 5, is a multifunctional secreted protein that acts as a promoter of tumor cell survival and angiogenesis.
Through alphaVbeta3 integrin-mediated signaling, it is suggested that MAGP2 may provide a potential mechanistic link between MAGP2 and angiogenesis, as well as patient survival.
Based on a high level of homology between MAGP (MFAP-2) and MAGP-2, both proteins are shown to bind to and activate Notch-1, as well as mediate the subsequent release of the Notch-1 extracellular domain.
