MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
Expression of cdc2 plays a critical role in cell transition through the G2/M phase.
The activity of cdc2 in dividing cells increases at the onset of M phase coincident with disassembly of the cell nucleus, generation of mitotic spindles and chromosome condensation.
Several proteins including Histone H1 and pp60 src are substrates for cdc2.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detected cdc2 from human A431, mouse 3T3 and rat L6 RIPA cell lysates.
Immunoprecipitation: 4ug Immunoprecipitates cdc2 from 500ug of A431 RIPA lysates
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Included Positive Antigen Control:A0001-50: Non-stimulated A431 lysate.
Use 20ug per lane for minigels
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
