MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
NADPH Oxidase is comprised of flavocytochrome b558 (made up of p22-phox and gp91-phox), p40-phox, p47-phox and p67-phox.
NADPH Oxidase mediates the final steps of electron transfer to oxygen, resulting in the generation of superoxide ion.
A growing body of evidence suggests a potential role for oxygen-derived radicals such as superoxide anions and hydrogen peroxide as intracellular signaling molecules that may be involved in cell growth, apoptosis and cellular senescence.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Not recommended for Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml detects gp91-phox in a HL60 membrane, RIPA cell lysate and human neutrophil membranes.
HL60 membrane lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with G8570.
Proteins were visualized using a secondary antibody IgG (HRP) Pab Gt x Rb* and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
