MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot.
Not suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml will detect Casein Kinase 2 in RIPA lysates from mouse 3T3 fibroblasts.
3T3 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-Casein Kinase 2 (4ug/ml).
Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control for Immunoblot Analysis:3T3 cell lysate; use 20ug per lane for immunoblots.
Add 2.5ul of 2-mercaptoethanol per 100ul of lysate and boil before use).
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
