RAB35 is a member of the Rab GTPases identified in the human genome.
It is ubiquitously expressed and regulates a fast endocytotic recycling events associated with the terminal steps of cytokinesis, the formation of immunological synapse, and peptide loading onto major histocompatibility complex III molecules.
RAB35 also plays a significant role in the formation of the immunological synapse (IS) between peptide-loaded antigen presenting cells (APCs) and T cells.
