特徴

• A member of the Endophilin family, Endophilin A1 is a protein containing SH3 domains, and has been implicated in the trafficking of clathrin-mediated synaptic vesicle endocytosis within the membrane.
• It was originally characterized as a presynaptically enriched protein that binds to endocytic proteins polyphosphoinositide synaptojanin and dynamin.
• Endophilin A1 has been implicated in endocytic vesicle budding when its function in cell-free systems and in living synapses has been disturbed.
• Along with the SH3 domain, Endophilin A1 contains a BAR domain in the N-terminal region, that has been found to induce and bind membrane curvature.
• This protein’s expression is localized to the brain, most specifically in the frontal cortex.
• Markedly high expression is observed in fetal cerebellum.
• Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Positive Control:Mouse brain tissue lysate.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
