Cytosolic oxidase-associated protein, a component of the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate-oxidase, which mediates down-regulation of NADPH oxidase through interactions with its SH3 domain.
Associated with p67-phox but is absent in patients with chronic granulomatous disease who lack p67-phox.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1ug/ml detects p40 phox in RIPA lysates of HL-60 cells.
HL-60 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with P1001-20C (1ug/ml).
Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
