特徴

• TIMP-1and TIMP-2 have similar properties, specifically in inhibiting enzymes of matrix metalloproteinase family, and are thought to be of great importance in the maintenance of connective tissue integrity.
• TIMP-1 forms a complex of 1:1 stoichiometry with activated interstitial collagenase, activated stromelysin, active form of 72kD Type IV collagenase (also known as MMP-2 or gelatinase A), and latent and active forms of 92kD Type IV collagenase (also known as MMP-9 or gelatinase B).
• TIMPs inhibit the proteolytic invasiveness of tumor cells and normal placental trophoblast cells.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml.
• Recognizes a band at ~28-30kD in reduced samples
• Immunohistochemistry: 1ug/sectionELISA: 5ug/mlOptimal dilution to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
