特徴

• Calreticulin was originally identified as a Ca2+ binding protein in the muscle sarcoplasmic reticulum.
• Since its original discovery, it has been found in high abundance in non-muscle tissue.
• Calreticulin has the ability to bind Ca2+ with high capacity but low affinity.
• The exact function of calreticulin is not yet known, however recent reports suggest that it may play a role in nuclear hormone receptor gene transcription and may also act as a chaperone protein.
• Calreticulin is 90% conserved among human, mouse, rat, rabbit and Aplysia.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry: Detects calreticulin in tissue sections and cells.
• Optimal diltions to be determined by the researcher.
• Included Positive Antigen Control:F4209: Fibroblast Cell, 3T3/A31 lysate.
• Add 2.5ul 2-mercaptoethanol/100ul of lysate.
• Boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation.
• Load 20ug of reduced lysate per lane for Western Blot analysis.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
