Interleukin-10, originally known as Cytokine Synthesis Inhibitory Factor (CSIF) is an18.7kD protein of 160aa residues that shares over 80% sequence homology with the Epstein-Barr Virus protein BCRFI.
IL-10 down regulates the expression of Th1 cytokines, major histocompatibility complex class II antigens, and costimulatory molecules on macrophages.
It also enhaces B cell survival, proliferation, and antibody production.
Knockout studies suggest that IL-10 is an immunoregulator in the intestinal tract.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.01ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
