MaxLight™750 is a new Near IR stable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™750, Alexa Fluor™700 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
In cardiac tissue brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) is synthesized as 134aa precursor (prepro-BNP), which is cleaved by proteases to form a 26aa "signal" peptide and a 108aa pro-BNP.
Proteolytic digestion of pro-BNP results in formation of 76aa amino-terminal NT-proBNP and biologically active 32aa BNP hormone molecule.
Both proBNP and NTproBNP circulate in human plasma and have been proposed as markers for early diagnosis of left ventricular dysfunction as well as prognostic markers of possible cardiac complications at patients with heart failure.
