• This gene encodes a member of the solute carrier family 6.
• Members of this family are sodium and chloride dependent neurotransmitter transporters.
• The encoded protein transports both neutral and cationic amino acids.
• This protein may also function as a beta-alanine carrier.
• Mutations in this gene may be associated with X-linked obesity.
• A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome X.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin/Leica): Heat induced antigen retrieval with EDTA Buffer, pH 9.0 is recommended
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™750 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
