• IRAK1, an IRAK type protein kinase, is a signal transducer for the immune response Toll-like receptor and interleukin-1 (IL-1) receptor signaling cascades.
• IRAK1 is recruited to the IL-1 receptor, phosphorylated and progressively degraded in response to IL-1 induction.
• The protein also has the ability to autophosphorylate.
• IRAK1 is immediately downstream of the MyD88 adapter protein and immediately upstream of TRAF6.
• IRAK1 (-/-) mice have impaired responses to interleukin-18.
• At least two mRNA transcript variants have been identified - 2 and 3.6kb.

• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
