• MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
• Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.
• Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds.
• These cytosolic enzymes are different in their tissue distributions and substrate specificities.
• The gene structure (number and length of exons) is similar among family members.
• SULT1C2 belongs to the SULT1 subfamily, responsible for transferring a sulfo moiety from PAPS to phenol-containing compounds.
• SULT1C2 belongs to a SULT subfamily that shows specificity for hydroxyarylamines.
• SULT1C2 catalyzes the sulfonation of p-nitrophenol and N-hydroxy-2-acetylaminofluorene, but not dopamine.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:FLISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:100-1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
