• DMC1 is essential for meiotic homologous recombination.
• Genetic recombination in meiosis plays an important role in generating diversity of genetic information.
• The product of this protein is structurally and evolutionary related to the products of the yeast RAD51 and E.
• coli RecA genes.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry (Not Tested) and FLISA.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embeddded sectionsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
