• UBE1 catalyzes the first step in ubiquitin conjugation to mark cellular proteins for degradation.
• This gene complements an X-linked mouse temperature-sensitive defect in DNA synthesis, and thus may function in DNA repair.
• It is part of a gene cluster on chromosome Xp11.23.
• Alternative splicing results in 2 transcript variants encoding the same protein, but with different 5' UTR.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:FLISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:100-1:500Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
