• Mutations in this gene lead to tuberous sclerosis complex.
• Its gene product is believed to be a tumor suppressor and is able to stimulate specific GTPases.
• The protein associates with hamartin in a cytosolic complex, possibly acting as a chaperone for hamartin.
• Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

• Recommended Dilution:FLISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:100-500
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
