MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
Partially deglycosylated plasma glycoproteins and immunoglobulin IgA2 allotypes are efficiently and specifically removed from circulation by a receptor-mediated process.
The asialoglycoprotein receptor binds to desialylated (galactosyl-terminal) glycoproteins.
It transports these glycoproteins via a series of membrane vesicles and tubules to an acidic-sorting organelle where the receptor and ligand dissociate.
Then the receptor is recycled back to the cell surface and the ligand is transported to the lysosomes for degradation.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and FLISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Leica/Paraffin): Requires HIER using EDTA pH9.0 prior to staining
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
