• This gene represents a nuclear retinoic acid receptor.
• The encoded protein, retinoic acid receptor alpha, regulates transcription in a ligand-dependent manner.
• This gene has been implicated in regulation of development, differentiation, apoptosis, granulopoeisis, and transcription of clock genes.
• Translocations between this locus and several other loci have been associated with acute promyelocytic leukemia.
• Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this locus.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry (Not Tested) and FLISA.
• Other applications have not been tested.

• Storage and Stability::Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
