MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
Transcription factor that can activate or repress transcription in response to physiological and pathological stimuli.
Binds with high affinity to GC-rich motifs and regulates the expression of a large number of genes involved in a variety of processes such as cell growth, apoptosis, differentiation and immune responses.
Highly regulated by post-translational modifications (phosphorylations, sumoylation, proteolytic cleavage, glycosylation and acetylation).
Binds also the PDGFR-alpha G-box promoter.
May have a role in modulating the cellular response to DNA damage.
Implicated in chromatin remodeling.
Plays a role in the recruitment of SMARCA4/BRG1 on the c-FOS promoter.
Plays an essential role in the regulation of FE65 gene expression.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and FLISA.
Other potential application, though not tested is Direct Flow Cytometry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
