• Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000.
• MVP, the major vault protein, is a lung resistance-related protein.
• Vaults are multi-subunit structures that may be involved in nucleo-cytoplasmic transport.
• This protein mediates drug resistance, perhaps via a transport process.
• It is widely distributed in normal tissues, and overexpressed in multidrug-resistant cancer cells.
• The protein overexpression is a potentially useful marker of clinical drug resistance.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:FLISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:100-1:500Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
