• PAK proteins are critical effectors that link Rho GTPases to cytoskeleton reorganization and nuclear signaling.
• PAK proteins, a family of serine/threonine p21-activating kinases, include PAK1, PAK2, PAK3, PAK4, PAK5, and PAK6.
• PAK proteins serve as targets for the small GTP binding proteins Cdc42 and Rac and have been implicated in a wide range of biological activities.
• PAK4 interacts specifically with the GTP-bound form of Cdc42Hs and weakly activates the JNK family of MAP kinases.
• PAK4 is a mediator of filopodia formation and may play a role in the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:FLISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:100-1:500Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™405 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
