Ferrochelatase is localized to the mitochondrion where it catalyzes the insertion of ferrous form of iron into protoporphyrin IX in the heme synthesis pathway.
Defects in ferrochelatase are associated with protoporphyria.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.

Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
