Decay-accelerating Factor (CD55) is one of the three proteins protecting cells from autologous lysis by complement.
The others are: membrane cofactor protein (MCP; CD46) and an inhibitor of the membrane attack complex formation (CD59).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:3000Immunohistochemistry(Paraffin): 5ug/ml Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
