CD20 is also called L26 or membrane spanning 4 domains (MS4A1).
It is a 33 kd phosphoprotein with 3 hydrophobic regions that traverse the cell membrane, creating a structure similar to an ion channel that allows for the influx of calcium ions required for cell activation.
Initially expressed on B cells after CD19/CD10 expression and before CD21/CD22 and surface immunoglobulin expression.
It is retained on mature B cells until plasma cell development.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 3-5ug/mlImmunohistochemistry(Paraffin): 2-2.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
