RPE (ribulose-phosphate 3-epimerase) belongs to the ribulose-phosphate 3-epimerase family.
In enzymology, a ribulose-phosphate 3-epimerase is the enzyme that converts D-ribulose 5-phosphate into D-xylulose 5-phosphate in Calvin's reductive pentose phosphate cycle.
Hence, this enzyme has one substrate, D-ribulose 5-phosphate, and one product, D-xylulose 5-phosphate.
This enzyme participates in 3 metabolic pathways: pentose phosphate pathway, pentose and glucuronate interconversions, and carbon fixation.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
