The human alanyl-tRNA synthetase (AARS) belongs to a family of tRNA synthases,of the class II enzymes.
Class II tRNA synthases evolved early in evolution and are highly conserved.This is reflected by the fact that 498 of the 968-residue polypeptide human AARS shares 41% identity witht the E.coli protein.
tRNA synthases are the enzymes that interpret the RNA code and attach specific aa to the tRNAs that contain the cognate trinucleotide anticodons.They consist of a catalytic domain which interacts with the aa acceptor-T psi C helix of the tRNA, and a second domain which interacts with the rest of the tRNA structure.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
