In mouse, the interferon-inducible Mx protein is responsible for a specific antiviral state against influenza virus infection.
The protein encoded by this gene is similar to the mouse protein as determined by its antigenic relatedness, induction conditions, physicochemical properties, and amino acid analysis.
This cytoplasmic protein is a member of both the dynamin family and the family of large GTPases.
Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
For maximum recovery of product, 11c7entrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
