MUT is the mitochondrial enzyme methylmalonyl Coenzyme A mutase.
In humans, it is a vitamin B12-dependent enzyme which catalyzes the isomerization of methylmalonyl-CoA to succinyl-CoA, while in other species this enzyme may have different functions.
Mutations in MUT may lead to various types of methylmalonic aciduria.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
