CD7, a 40kD transmembrane glycoprotein, is a novel member of Ig superfamily expressed primarily on thymocytes and mature T-cells.
It consists of a extracellullar region with Ig-like domains, a transmembrane region and cytoplasmic tail.
It functions as a co-stimulatory molecule regulating the function and development of T-cells and NK cells.
It plays a significant role in T-cell interactions and also in T-cell/B-cell interactions during early lymphoid development.
Reports suggest CD7 has a key role in regulating integrin-mediated adhesion of T-cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
