特徴
- Thrombomodulin (TM), also called CD141, is a type I membrane receptor that is specific to endothelial cells.
- TM has a cysteine-rich extracellular domain with six EGF-like regions.
- It forms a complex with Thrombin, which activates Protein C to generate activated Protein C (APC), an anticoagulant enzyme.
- APC together with Protein S inhibits coagulation by inactivating Factors Va and VIIIa.
- Deletion of the TM gene results in embryonic lethality in mice.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
