TFPT (TCF3 fusion partner), also known as INO80F or protein FB1, is a 253 amino acid nuclear protein.
TFPT is a component of the chromatin-remoldeling INO80 complex, which is composed of proteins such as BAF53, ACTR5, ACTR8, INOC1, INO80B, INO80C, INO80D and INO80E.
The INO80 complex, in addition to chromatin-remoldeling, plays a role in DNA repair, DNA replication, checkpoint regulation, telomere maintenance and chromosome segregation.
TFPT interacts with ARC and appears to promote apoptosis in a TP53/p53-independent manner.
It is also thought that a chromosomal aberration involving the genes that encode TFPT and E2A is a cause of pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
