SARNP (SAP domain-containing ribonucleoprotein), also known as CIP29 (Cytokine-induced protein of 29 kDa) and HCC1 (Nuclear protein Hcc-1), is a 210 amino acid nuclear protein whose expression is upregulated by erythropoietin.
Induction of SARNP expression is associated with cell cycle progression and apoptosis.
This transcription factor binds both single stranded (ss) and double stranded (ds) DNA, though it has higher affinity for ssDNA.
SARNP is expressed at low levels in pancreas, spleen, testis, liver, kidney, heart and thymus, and is found to be expressed at higher levels in pancreatic adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunocytochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
