Protein phosphatase 2A subunit B isoform R2-alpha (PPP2R2A) is the component of regulatory subunit B of serine/threonine protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A).
PPP2R2A belongs to the R2/B55/PR55 family of regulatory subunit B.
Evidence suggests that subunit PPP2R2A enhances TGF-beta, Activin, and Nodal signaling pathways and may play an important role in cell cycle regulation .
PPP2R2A/PP2A, B55-alpha/PR55-alpha isoform interacts with the type I TGF-beta receptors via unique WD-40 repeats that contribute to the anti-proliferative function of TGF-beta receptors.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
