Hint1, or histidine triad nucleotide-binding protein 1, belongs to the first branch of the HIT superfamily.
It hydrolyzes adenosine 5'-monophosphoramidate substrates such as AMP-morpholidate, AMP-N-alanine methyl ester, AMP-alpha-acetyl lysine methyl ester and AMP-NH2.
Hint1 also inhibits the activity of the transcription factors AP1, MITF and USF2, as well as influences the transcription process of the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway.
In addition, mammalian Hint1 has been suggested to have some tumor suppressor activity.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
