特徴
- Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is an acid- and heat-stable 53 amino acid protein of 6kDa originally found in rodents and humans.
- EGF has been shown to be a potent mitogen for a variety of cell types both in vivo and in vitro.
- It binds to the 170kDa EGF receptor on the surface of cells and mediates intrinsic phos phoryl ation of the receptor on tyrosine residues.
- EGF has been detected in nearly all body fluids such as urine (urogastrone), saliva, milk and platelet-rich plasma.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
