DNAM 1 is a receptor expressed by peripheral blood T lymphocytes that is involved in intercellular adhesion, lymphocyte signaling, cytotoxicity and lymphokine secretion mediated by cytotoxic T lymphocytes.
DNAM 1 is broadly expressed on T cells, NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of B cells.
DNAM-1 is also expressed by a subset of CD3 positive thymocytes.
This antibody is reported to inhibit T- and NK cell mediated cytotoxicity against tumor cell targets and to block TNF alpha and IFN gamma secretion by alloantigen-specific T-cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
