The human granulocyte-macrophage colonystimulating factor(GM-CSF) is a pleiotropic cytokinewith a 17 amino acid signal peptide that is cleaved to produce themature formof 127 amino acids.
Thematuremurine GM-CSF protein is 124 amino acids and shares 60 percent homology with the human GM-CSF protein.
GM-CSFis a glycoprotein thatcan stimulate the proliferation of hematopoieticcellsincluding granulocytes andmacrophages.
It has been shown to promote the phosphorylation ofcPLA2 in human neutrophils.
The phosphorylation ofcPLA2was accompanied by an increase in the enzyme activity.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
